How much is the condo fee?
Our condo fee is currently $.

What does the condo fee cover?
The condo fee covers landscaping, snow removal, garbage pickup, water and sewer, termite control, parking lot lighting, building maintenance, the main insurance on the condominium complex, and other operating expenses.

When is the condo fee due?
Condo fees are due at the 1st of each month, but there is a 10 day grace period before late fees are applied.

What happens if I can't pay my bill on time?
Late fees will be applied after the 10 day grace period.
If the balance owed is $300 or over, a lien will be placed on the property.
Once the balance reaches $1,200, foreclosure procedures will begin.

I need something repaired. Who do I contact?

I noticed that some things are being repaired, yet some things are being held off. Why is this happening?
While we would like to see everything be done that needs to be, sometimes our funds do not allow us to do so. We then have to make decisions, based on most need of repair.

What if I have another issue, besides repairs, that I need addressed?
You can contact our property manager, , by calling . You may also attend one of the Board meetings to speak directy to the Board.

When are the Board meetings, and how do I find out about them?
Board meetings are usually on the first Monday of the month, but sometimes that can change due the availabilities of the Board members. They are usually held at a Board member's condo, except for our annual meeting, which is usually held at a secondary location. You can find out the details from the minutes that you recieve in the mail every month. A secondary notice will be sent out for the annual meeting.

I have not been receiving the minutes. What do I do?
Call our property manager, , at . If you live at a different residence than your condo at Shaker Farms, please provide that information, so that all correspondance may be mailed to the correct address. You may also download them from this site, if you do not wish to recieve them by mail.

What is the purpose of the Shaker Farms website?
The Shaker Farms website is designed to connect all residents of the Shaker Farms community by providing you access to information you can use.

The landscaping is taken care of by . The grass will be mowed every Wednesday.

When is the garbage collected?
The garbage is collected every Tuesday and Friday. If you find that your dumpster has not been collected, you may contact our property manager, , at . Please identify the location of, and number on the dumpster (1-6), which can be found on the dumpster itself.

I noticed that one of our parking lot lights is not working. Who do I contact?
You can contact LG&E at 589-3500. Be sure to give them a detailed description and location of the streetlight that is out.

I lost my mailbox key. How can I get a new one?
You can call our property manager, , at , and a new key will be provided (owner's expense).

I just recieved a notice in the mail about dryer vent cleaning and chimney inspections. How often does it need to be done, and whose responsibility is it?
Dryer vents, as well as working chimney's need to be inspected and cleaned once a year, according to fire code. It is every unit owner's responsibility to have this done. If you do not use your fireplace, or if your fireplace has been removed, you may send in a statement to indicating so.

How do I report trespassers in the area?
You can call 574-LMPD (5673) to report trespassers. Do not confront them. If they threaten you, or they are commiting a crime, do not hesitate to call 911.

How do I report door-to-door solicitors in the area?
You can call 574-LMPD (5673) to report door-to-door solicitors. Do not open the door for them. If they will not go away, or they knock persistantly, do not hesitate to call 911.

I would like to run for the Board. How do I do that?
It is easy to run for the Board, and we welcome your help. Just send your biography to during the call for nominations and attend the annual meeting.
